Belgium cries for the death of 22 children in an accident.

A group of primary school children from Lommel Flemish towns and Heverlee, returning from a week of skiing holiday in the snow of the winter station Swiss Val d'Anniviers, in the Swiss canton of Valais, on Tuesday night suffered an awful accident.

At 21:15 hours, when the bus -the retinue was formed by three vehicleswas going to enter a tunnel on the highway from southern Switzerland to Lausanne, the driver lost control and finally bumped into
a wall , in the town of Sierre.

An investigation has been opened to determine the causes of the accident, but authorities agree that the bus was not going at high speed.

All children had set the seat belt, but the shock was really violent. The vehicle carried 52 people and was going to Sion, Switzerland where would leave Switzerland to enter France and continue to Belgium.
The front of the bus was completely crushed.
Swiss emergency services reported that it took nearly two hours to remove the wounded and dead people from among the irons because of the state in which the vehicle was.
The newspaper 'Le Soir' recounted on its website that a 12 year old girl , with two broken legs and a broken arm but mindful, managed to phone his father, just after the accident, and said: "It was dark and I heard a strong knock . All the chairs were ejected and I was trapped   between two seats. "
Some parents traveled without knowing if their children were dead or had survived, because the Swiss authorities could not identify all the victims.
In the airplane also flew a team of psychologists to assist parents and injured children and a group of forensic experts to assist in identification.
