Kony 2012 a lie?

Kony is a criminal from Uganda that abducts children during the night while they are sleeping. He forces the boys to kill and he rapes the girls and uses them as young prostitutes.

An American man went to Uganda almost 10 years ago and came across many children that had been abducted by Kony. He decided to do something, so he asked the United States government. They didn’t want to help, and years went by. Finally, when so many people knew who Kony was, the American government decided to step in and “help”.

They spread the message through a video uploaded to the internet. Millions of people saw the video and joined the group to find Kony this year, in 2012. From the official website, posters can be printed off to be put in cities all over the world by many people to “make Kony famous”.

Then this is when people started to have doubts about wither the American governments help was genuine. Why would they want to help, and spend so much money on a project if they’re not going to get anything in return?

In 2009 a petrol deposit was found on the western border of Uganda with 6 billion barrels of petrol. Now many people don’t know what to do. They want to help to make things better but the people know that the USA government’s interest isn’t to help, if not to earn money.
