Child exploitation reffers to children working in any economic system in a country or a region. Child exploitation is seen in countries still in development, but even still, it can still be seen in industrialized countries.
Child exploitation by regions
Although the figures almost always coincide with developing countries or poor countries, industrialized countries are involved in this drama because they often buy products in which boys and girls in the developing countries worked to make. Moreover, the constant wave of immigration reaching industrialized countries carries a high number of children, many of whom live in countries in marginalization in the rich countries and are forced to work for a living.
In Latin America, 1 in 5 children aged between 5 and 14 years, 1 in Africa 3, Asia 1 in 2 work.
In the European Union, two million, mostly in areas disrupted by ultra-liberal structures such as the UK but also in other countries, we believe, socially advanced as Denmark, Holland and France masked child labor exists in the form of contracts of learning. In Italy semi-working children in supermarkets, putting together pieces of imitation, selling heroin ... In our country there would be about a million working children under 16 years.
