On the 7th of April, in the square where the bars cortijera Tony's Bar and Bar Sussex organized a fundraiser to help realize the dream of a woman who has terminal cancer. his dream is to visit the city of New York with his son before he died.
In fundraising we spent all day in the square, where we had a series of activities to help raise money as a tug of war, waxing, guess the weight of the cake, and to this day an amazing total raised of 3000 euros 1200 euros for the help of the charity of the lions in La Cala de Mijas.

We have also raised 1,200 euros for having a sponsored walk along the coast of Mijas, walk to the beach La Cala down to Calahonda, with all the money raised during these events we have raised over 5,500 euros and the woman got her trip to new York with her son.
