Michael Phelps won his best marc in the 200 meters butterfly at the Grand Prix of Ohio, preparatory event for the Olympic Games in 2012.

Phelps, 26, made a record of 1:55.32. Thus, the Baltimore swimmer was just below 17/100 Frenchman Yannick Agnel.

Phelps has said to shine in the Olympics in London. The U.S. holds in his record fourteen gold medals in Olympic Games, eight of them in Beijing 2008.
